Fuzion Flooring is a Canadian-owned manufacturer, designer, and distributor of premium flooring products serving residential and commercial markets across North America, Fuzion offers an extensive portfolio spanning engineered hardwood, luxury vinyl, hybrid resilient flooring, laminate, carpet tile, and flooring accessories. The company has built its brand around design-forward products, quality craftsmanship, innovation, sustainability, and an elevated customer experience.
Founded in the mid-2000s, Fuzion has grown from a family-led flooring business into an established North American flooring brand with more than 500 product styles and a broad network of independent retail partners. Its products are designed to serve homeowners, designers, builders, contractors, and other commercial customers while giving buyers access to a wide range of styles, materials, colors, and price points.
Fuzion's Canadian headquarters is located in Mississauga, Ontario, with additional corporate operations in Calgary, Alberta; Lewisville, and Houston, Texas, giving the company four publicly listed corporate locations across Canada and the United States. Beyond these locations, Fuzion distributes its products through an extensive network of local flooring retailers and dealers, significantly extending the company's geographic reach; estimated $27 million in annual revenue.
As Fuzion Flooring continued to grow its product portfolio and North American market presence, the company saw an opportunity to expand its digital capabilities and create a stronger e-commerce experience for customers. The whole initiative centered around launching a Adobe Magento e-commerce website capable of transforming Fuzion's extensive flooring catalog into a more accessible digital shopping experience. Rather than relying exclusively on traditional sales and distribution channels, Fuzion wanted to create another avenue for customers to discover products, interact with the brand, and ultimately generate additional revenue online.
Building the website itself, however, was only part of the challenge. Fuzion's existing on-premise environment contained critical operational information, including product and customer data required to support the new e-commerce platform. Without an effective integration between the legacy environment and Magento, the company risked creating a disconnected digital storefront that required employees to manually maintain information across multiple systems.
That disconnect could have resulted in inaccurate product information, inconsistent customer records, duplicated data entry, slower updates, and unnecessary administrative work and Fuzion therefore needed to establish a reliable flow of information between its existing business systems and the new Magento environment: On-Premise Business System → Product & Customer Data → Integration → Magento E-Commerce Platform → Online Customer Experience. Therefor, by connecting these environments, would allow Fuzion to preserve the value of its existing operational infrastructure while extending that information into a modern digital commerce channel.
In addition, the technology initiative also supported a broader business objective: Launching an e-commerce platform would have limited value without a strategy for attracting customers to it. Fuzion needed a coordinated digital marketing strategy capable of increasing online visibility, expanding brand awareness, generating qualified website traffic, and converting that traffic into measurable e-commerce growth.
The project therefore required more than traditional website development. Fuzion needed a partner capable of bringing together Magento e-commerce development, legacy system integration, data synchronization, and digital marketing within a unified strategy.
The client partnered with Quandary Consulting Group’s E-Commerce Development and Digital Marketing team to design and implement a modern, scalable Adobe Magento e-commerce platform aligned with its premium brand identity.
During discovery and planning, the client outlined key objectives:
The platform also required a flexible shopping cart system, simplified checkout process, multiple secure payment gateway integrations, and scalable shipping configurations to support national growth.
Quandary designed and developed a fully customized, user-friendly Magento website that reflected the company’s luxury positioning while prioritizing performance and usability.
Key features included:
The result was a high-performing, scalable digital commerce platform designed to support both direct online sales and long-term growth.
The launch of Fuzion Flooring's custom Magento e-commerce platform created a new digital foundation for the company's continued growth across the North American flooring market. Fuzion gained a modern, visually sophisticated online experience that reflected the quality and design-forward positioning of its flooring products while making it easier for customers to discover and engage with the brand online. The new platform was also mobile-optimized, scalable, and easier for Fuzion's internal team to manage, giving employees greater control over product listings, imagery, and website content without introducing unnecessary technical complexity.
More importantly, the integration between Magento and Fuzion's existing on-premise environment helped connect the company's digital storefront with the product and customer data already supporting its operations, so instead of creating another isolated system, the new e-commerce environment established a more connected flow of information between Fuzion's internal systems and its growing digital presence.
Following the website launch and implementation of an integrated SEO and paid search strategy, Fuzion experienced significant digital growth within just three months:
The results demonstrated that Fuzion's digital transformation extended well beyond the launch of a new website. By combining Magento e-commerce development, legacy system integration, conversion-focused user experience design, SEO, and paid digital marketing, the company created an interconnected strategy for attracting customers and converting increased digital visibility into revenue; and, for a flooring company with 500+ product styles, a growing North American presence, and an extensive network of retail partners, that scalability was particularly important. Fuzion could continue expanding its digital product experience without relying on disconnected systems or increasingly cumbersome manual processes.
Ultimately, Fuzion Flooring transformed its online presence into a measurable growth channel. Website traffic increased more than 350%, online revenue grew 400%, and the company established a scalable e-commerce foundation capable of supporting continued digital growth across the flooring and building materials market.
