Employee hours captured in daily work reports are also critical to payroll. In a manual environment, preparing those records can require administrative employees to collect reports, identify employees and crews, reconcile hours, confirm approvals, aggregate totals, and prepare information for payroll processing.
Quandary's engagement gives Magnolia a more structured model, Quickbase aggregates approved operational information using standard reporting logic, including hours per employee and hours per crew. That allows the same field record used to document completed work to become part of the payroll workflow.

Today, translating those operational details into billing information does require human interpretation.
