Who We Work With in Logistics
Our team works with logistics orgs running ongoing shipment volume across sites or lanes and need operations to keep up:
Third-party logistics providers, warehousing and fulfillment operators, and regional transportation companies handling steady daily shipments.
Companies that have at least one internal person who can own projects and change work, often an operations manager, network planner, or continuous improvement lead.
Teams already using WMS, TMS, ERP, and customer portals and wanting those systems to work as one logistics operation.
A Practical Path to AI in Logistics
AI is in every strategy deck for logistics and supply chain.
For a logistics operation, the real constraints are broken handoffs, siloed Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and shipment data no one fully trusts.
Our Business Transformation Accelerator fixes people, processes, systems, data, and automation, then adds agentic AI into specific workflows like exception prediction, ETA accuracy, and SLA risk alerts.
If AI is a priority, this roadmap is the disciplined way to use it to improve service and cost without putting your network or customers at unnecessary risk.

Finding a vendor that not only responds in a timely manner but also proactively identifies potential roadblocks is like finding a needle in a hay stack. Our assigned engineer from Quandary, Ben, was able to diagnose problems with surgical precision and with the efficiency of an energy star appliance. We look forward to working with Ben and the team at Quandary again in the future. If you have a tech project that could use some help, be sure to give Quandary a call.

FAQs
Q: How do you align our TMS, WMS, spreadsheets, and accounting/ERP?
We map how an order or shipment moves today from quote to delivery to invoice across your Transportation Management System (TMS), Warehouse Management System (WMS), spreadsheets, email, and accounting or ERP.
Then we define a single shipment or load record and cost structure so orders, stops, charges, and status updates line up in every system.
Typical work includes:
Standardizing lane, customer, and cost codes so operations and finance speak the same language
Deciding where each data point is entered first and owned
Connecting tools so load IDs and status changes stay consistent from dispatch to warehouse to finance
The result is one view of volumes, service, and margin instead of separate, conflicting lists.
This sits mainly in the System and Data stages of our Business Transformation Accelerator.
Q: We use a TMS, WMS, route planning, and telematics. What do you change?
We keep your existing platforms and focus on how they are configured and connected.
Common work includes:
Cleaning up order types, load and shipment structures, accessorial codes, workflows, and forms so they reflect how you run freight and warehouse operations today
Tightening how orders, stops, and status flows move through the TMS and WMS
Rebuilding integrations so customer, shipment, and cost data stay in sync between transportation, warehouse, customer portals, and accounting
The tools stay the same. The way they are used and connected is redesigned to support your current operating model.
This sits mainly in the System, Process, and Data stages of our Business Transformation Accelerator.
Q: How do you stop work slipping between sales, dispatch, drivers, warehouse, and finance?
We design standard workflows for key journeys like quote to booked load, booked to dispatched, dispatched to delivered, and delivered to invoiced, then give each function a clear role in those workflows.
That usually includes:
Clear rules and handoffs from sales and customer service to dispatch
Start up checklists for loads and projects, so work launches the same way every time
Status and document rules inside your TMS and WMS for tenders, pickups, deliveries, and exceptions
Triggers for finance when loads or warehouse work are ready to bill, with simple rules for exceptions
Work moves through defined stages and queues in your systems instead of relying on individual follow-up and manual lists.
This sits mainly in the Process and People stages of our Business Transformation Accelerator, supported by System and Automation changes.
Q: How are you different from our IT provider, TMS vendor, and implementation partners?
Your IT provider keeps infrastructure, networks, and devices running. Your TMS, WMS, and other software vendors configure and support their own products and integrations. Your internal teams focus on moving freight, running warehouses, and meeting service commitments.
Our role is to redesign and implement how the whole operation fits together across people, processes, systems, data, automation, and AI.
We:
Map and redesign end-to-end workflows that cut across sales, dispatch, planning, drivers, warehouse operations, and finance
Align systems and data so those workflows are supported by your TMS, WMS, route planning, telematics, and accounting stack
Own delivery of the new operating model until it is live, stable, and managed by your team
You get a working system of processes, tools, and metrics, not just a configured TMS or another slide deck.
This work spans all stages of our Business Transformation Accelerator.
Q: What kinds of automations can you set up in transportation and warehousing?
We focus on automations that reduce manual tracking and errors, such as:
Tender acceptance, load creation, and status updates based on EDI or API messages
Appointment scheduling, dock assignment, and gate check-in workflows
Notifications for customers on pickup, delivery, and exceptions
Automatic creation and routing of tasks for accessorials, OS&D, or delayed loads
Generating billing inputs and audit steps from completed moves and warehouse activities
These automations run inside your existing systems or through integrations and have clear ownership on your team so they can be monitored and maintained.
This work sits mainly in the Automation, System, and Data stages of our Business Transformation Accelerator.
Q: Where does AI realistically fit for a logistics company like ours?
We use AI to reduce manual work and support decisions on top of a stable process and data foundation.
Examples include:
Summarizing shipment exceptions, driver messages, and warehouse reports
Turning unstructured notes into structured updates and reasons for delay
Assisting planners and customer service with suggested responses or next actions inside existing tools
Helping operations and finance explain cost, margin, and service trends using data from your systems
We implement AI inside controlled workflows with defined inputs and outputs, and only deploy it once underlying processes and data are stable.
This sits in the Agentic stage of our Business Transformation Accelerator.
